Q: help pricing a jeep wrangler for sale?
its a 1992 jeep wrangler hard top, 4 cyl, 5 speed manual, 140,000 miles and oil was changed every 3,000 miles. Does anyone have any estimates of what this is worth?.. also it has a trailer hitch, i don't know if that makes a difference though.

A: The 4 cyl is Slooooow!! Just to let you know. It actually gets less MPG than the 4.0 inline 6 because it's way more pounds per horsepower. As stated above go to kbb.com and get the value. Check the frame and fender wells for rust.

You can put in your zipcode, kind of vehicle, price range, age, mileage, most any thing you need to find a vehicle, you can also go like within 5 or 10 miles of your area. I think it's fantastic. They'll show vehicles at local dealers plus any that might be available from individuals.

A: For $6K out the door, a late 1980s or very early 1990s Wrangler with 200K miles is about all you can hope for. If you find something less used in the price range, there is something wrong with it. Have it checked out by a mechanic before you buy. Wranglers hold their resale better than anything this side of Lexus, and they bottom out at around $5,000--and that's for something with serious known mechanical problems.
